COUNTERFLOWS ON PAPER
Since 2021 Counterflows, the Glasgow-based international festival of experimental music has released an annual publication of newly-commissioned writing, illustrated by artists from Project Ability, edited by Helen Charman and Joel White. In 2026, it had its inaugural launch event as part of the festival programming, to be reprised in 2027.

At the Made in Easterhouse multi-artform festival, there will be a collaborative performance of work from the publication.

After some tester days in summer 2026, facillitated with Ray Aggs and Lilí Ní Dhomhnaill, we are working with existing organisations including Project Ability, Counterflows, and Platform to develop programming for 2027 and beyond.
